1. Cách nhớ thứ tự tính từ trong Tiếng Anh nhanh nhất.

Thứ tự các tính từ trong tiếng Anh thường được sắp xếp như sau:

1. Opinion (general opinion – specific opinion): pretty, horrible, lovely, good, bad (Op)

2. Size: huge, tiny, big, little, long, short (S)

3. Age: old, young, new (A)

4. Shape: round, square, triangular (S)

5. Colour: black, red, yellow (C)

6. Origin: British, Chinese, French (O) 

7. Material: woollen, wooden, silk (M)

8. Purpose: writing (paper), school (shoes), coffee (table) (P) 

Bằng cách ghép các chữ cái đầu của các từ này, chúng ta có từ mới sau: OpSASCOMP. 

 

Trong đó: opinion là những tính từ mô tả ý kiến nhận xét, đánh giá. 

Lưu ý: 

Tính từ chung mô tả đánh giá chung sẽ đứng trước tính từ mô tả đánh giá cụ thể.

Tính từ mô tả đánh giá chung là những tính từ có thể dùng cho hầu hết tất cả các danh từ.

Ví dụ:

good	nice	nasty
bad	beautiful	important
lovely	excellent	wonderful
strange	awful	brilliant

–  Tính từ mô tả đánh giá cụ thể là những tính từ dùng để mô tả một hoặc một số loại danh từ cụ thể.

Ví dụ:

Food: delicious, tasty

Furniture, buildings: comfortable, uncomfortable

People, animal: clever, intelligent, friendly
